Regulatory FAQ

Answers to the questions companies most often ask about our sheets.

Understanding the sheets

What does a regulatory sheet contain?

Each sheet gives a definition, the reference texts with their official links, obligations, required documents, frequencies, responsibilities, risks, an example, a checklist and a “Regulatory monitoring” section.

Where do the cited texts come from?

References point to official sources, mainly Légifrance for French law and EUR-Lex for European law, as well as prevention bodies when they are cited.

What do the “In force” and “To be checked” statuses mean?

“In force” means the sheet was checked on the verification date shown. “To be checked” flags a sheet whose references still need confirming before any use.

Updates and validity

Are the sheets up to date?

Each sheet shows its last verification date. Regulations change: always check the official text in force before making a decision.

What does the “end of validity date” mean?

It is the date by which the sheet must be checked again. Most laws have no expiry date; this date concerns our review, not the law itself.

How can I follow upcoming changes?

The “Regulatory monitoring” section of each sheet lists announced changes. With an account, you can add a sheet to “My references” and follow it.

Using the sheets in your company

How do I know whether my company complies?

The “Check my compliance” button offers a questionnaire and an indicative action plan you can export as PDF. It is a self-assessment aid, not an audit or a compliance certificate.

How do I find the sheets for my sector?

Use the search, the filters by field, sector and content type, or the “By sector” pages, which list sector-specific sheets first, then sheets common to all sectors.

Can I use the checklists and templates?

Yes, as a starting point. They must be adapted to your activity, risks and organisation before use.

Limits and support

Does a sheet replace legal advice?

No. Sheets are for information. For a specific situation, have your analysis confirmed by a qualified professional or the relevant authority.

Can TriAltis help me apply a sheet?

Yes. You can request a quote for a diagnosis, setting up the documents or preparing for an audit.

I spotted an error or an amended text. What should I do?

Report it through the contact page, naming the sheet concerned: it will be checked again against the official source.
